Français : La Markt et la Marché, traduction littérale d'allemand est aussi appelée „place du marché“, “place” ou “marché aux herbes” ou “place aux legumes” pendant l’administration française de la Premier Empire, est une place de Mainz-Altstadt, le centre historique de Mayence. Elle était une des centres et places de la ville médiévale est un marché alimentaire hebdomadaire. Planche extraite des "Sur les bords du Rhin" album éditée par Blanquart-Evrard en 1853 (cf. Isabelle Jammes, Blanquart-Evrard et les origines de l’édition photographique française. Epreuve sur papier salé ; 33,6 x 24,6 cm. sur une planche de 61 x 43 cm.
