Français : Gravure sur cuivre extraite de Topographie Française de Claude Chastillon publiée entre 1644 et 1648 (Bibliothèque municipale de Tours) montrant le château de Tours dans son état après transformation par Saint-Louis ou son fils Philippe III le Hardi au XIII° siècle. Il englobe l'édifice réalisé au XI° siècle par les Plantagenets.. L'emplacement de la chapelle, contre la tour Ouest (ici à droite), semble erroné, selon Vassy Malatra, Le château de Tours : nouvelles approches in Bulletin de la Société archéologique de Touraine, tome LVII, 2011, p. 129 |
