Description
Suomi: Kromimalmilohkareen löytöpaikalle pystytetty muistokiven laatta. Löytö johti Elijärven kromikaivoksen ja Tornion terästehtaan avaamiseen.
English: Plaque in the Memorystone that was erected in the location where the first chromite malm sample was found on 15th June, 1959. The Kemi mine was openED six years later. Text in english: "From this location found diver Martti Matilainen 15th June, 1959 a chromite malm stone, that lead to opening of Kemi Mine and Tornio Steel factory."
