Description
Deutsch: Chrom (>99,999 % = 5N+) im Lichtbogenofen horizontal geschmolzen und raffiniert, sowie für den Größenvergleich ein hochreiner (99,96 % = 3N6) 1 cm3 Chrom-Würfel. Zu sehen sind ferner Mikrokristalle des sehr leicht bei der hohen Schmelztemperatur von 1907 °C verdampfenden Chromes, die sich während des Schmelzvorganges wieder abscheiden. English: High purity (>99.999 % = 5N+) chromium, remelted in a horizontal arc zone-refiner, showing large visible crystal grains, as well as a high purity (99.96 % = 3N6) 1 cm3 chromium cube for comparison. Sample: from the collection of Ethan Currens
Français : Échantillon de chrome à très grande pureté (>99,999%). Pour comparaison de taille, le cube de chrome pur à 99,96% a une longueur d'arête d'un centimètre.
