English: City parish churches: St. Bartholomew the Great St. Bartholomew the Great was originally founded as an Augustinian abbey in 1123. It was partially demolished in 1543 and survived the Great Fire of 1666. However, it fell into disrepair before being restored in the late 19th century. |
