April 8th 1976 and D1037 "Western Empress" (Built in 1962) takes a Western Region express through Reading station. A week or so later she was withdrawn from traffic but was not finally dispatched by the cutter at Swindon Works until the 16th February 1977. Camera: Olympus Pen F Half Frame SLR. |
