English: Coill Leitir Creamha Rua (Lettercraffroe Wood) The road from Uachtar Ard (Oughterard) to Rós an Mhíl (Rossaveel) passes through the vast forests of Suí Con (Seecon) and Leitir Creamha Rua (Lettercraffroe). Here it enters the Ghaeltacht (Irish-speaking area). The boundary is not immediately obvious apart from the sign, but no doubt considerable discussion has taken place about which parts of Connemara are Gaeltacht and which are not. |
