Español: Ilustración gráfica de un modelo de desarrollo del modelo de comunicación realizados por Claude Elwood Shannon y Warren Weaver en 1949. El modelo tiene los siguientes elementos: Una fuente de información, un codificador de enviar el mensaje a través de un medio o canal, que podrá ser interrumpida o distorsionada por el ruido, a un decodificador y un receptor. El receptor puede dar retroalimentación a la fuente.
