Notes
  • Significance: The cabin was built in 1910. The first recorded resident was Mary Ellen Gould who purchased the property July 16, 1914. The cabin dates to the early development of Fairbanks and its construction is exemplary of log cabin residences in the Fairbanks area and the region. The cabin retains its original form and historic integrity. The stick frame addition typifies a cabin's expansion. The cabin and addition will be rehabilitated as an exhibit with the construction of the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center scheduled for 2007.
  • Survey number: HABS AK-221
