Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Oberaden, seit 1966 Stadtteil von Bergkamen: „In Gold (Gelb) zwei gekreuzte schwarze Mauerspeere rechts und links je ein sechszackiger schwarzer schwebender Stern.“
Das erst 1956 entstandene Gemeindewappen zeigt zwei gekreuzte römische Mauerspeere, wie sie bei Ausgrabungen gefunden wurden; die Sterne entstammen dem Wappen derer von Aden.
English: „Or, two crossed sudes sable accompanied ahead and rear from two six rays sable.“
The arms were granted in 1956 and show two sudis found by excavations in the municipality. The stars are derived from the arms of the Lords of Aden. |
