Summary[edit]
DescriptionDam on Croome River - geograph.org.uk - 1655492.jpg |
English: Dam on Croome River Croome River is actually a lake created when 'Capability' Brown landscaped Croome Park for the 6th Earl of Coventry in the 18th century, pictured here is the dam which holds back the water. At least it did until the summer of 2008 when it sprung a leak and the National Trust had to built a temporary dam to prevent the lake from draining. |
