Description

Derry and Dublin Senior Footballers march out behind the Artane Boys' Band at Croke Park for the All-Ireland Final on 28 September 1958.

According to the Irish Times of Monday, 29 September 1958, the official attendance at Croke Park was 73,731. It was "estimated that a further 25,000 people failed to gain admission."

Dublin won. The final score was Dublin 2:12 to Derry's 1:9
