  • Significance: Constructed in an area of residential structures in an elite section of the City of Bellaire. The Mitchell House is significant for its Gothic Revival form with Italianate windows, reflecting two popular styles of the architecture of the late nineteenth century. The distinctive design of the Mitchell House is indicative of the once solid neighborhood in which it is situated.
