Description
English: Topographic Map (Messtischblatt) showing the location of the jagdschloss of Dianaburg north of the city of Darmstadt, Hesse, Germany, within the Arheilgen district of Darmstadt. Part of Sheet 3441 "Messel". As the entire sheet does not show any trace either of the switching yard or the repair shop at Kranichstein, both beeing build by the Prussian Railway between 1896 and 1898, the map is to be from before that date. Deutsch: Topographische Karte (Messtischblatt/ des Jagdschlosses Dianaburg, nördlich von Darmstadt auf der Gemarkung des Stadtteils Arheilgen gelegen. Ausschnitt des Blattes 3441 "Messel". Das Gesamtblatt zeigt in der linken unteren Ecke, weder Spuren des Ausbesserungswerkes noch des Rangierbahnhofes Kranichstein. Da diese zwischen 1896 und 1898 von der Preußischen Staatseisenbahn errichtet wurden muß die Karte folgerichtig älter sein.
