English: The relief features the visit of Prince Dmitry Donskoy to the Trinity Monastery before the Battle of Kulikovo. The warrior monks Peresvet and Oslyabya stand on the left and are depicted in schema garments. Sergius of Radonezh is depicted in the centre, with a raised icon, Dmitry Donskoy bends down before him.

Object history
English: The marble relief by Alexander Loganovsky was mounted on the façade of the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour destroyed in the end of 1931. Before the total demolition of the cathedral the relief was dismounted, now (2012) it is housed in Moscow, at Donskoy Monastery; the bronze replica of Loganovsky’s relief is mounted on the northern façade of the rebuilt cathedral
Русский: Мраморный горельеф работы А.В. Логановского был установлен на фасаде Храма Христа Спасителя, взорванного в конце 1931 г. Незадолго до разрушения храма горельеф был демонтирован. В настоящее время (2012 г.) произведение хранится в Москве, на территории Донского монастыря; бронзовое повторение горельефа Логановского размещено на северном фасаде воссозданного храма.
