Description

The double cluster h Persei and Chi Persei in Perseus. The photo was taken using the following equipement:

  • Telescope: Vixen R130S, 5.1" Newton Telescope on Super Polaris GEM, 20mm eyepiece
  • Camera: Nikon Coolpix 950 digital camera
  • Exposure: 29 x 8 sec.
  • Processing: Subtraction of dark frame, adding 2x10 and 1x9 single images in Photoshop. The 3 stacks were averaged.
