| Description |
English: Dovey Junction Station. This isolated station is nearly a mile from the nearest road and exists primarily as an interchange point between the Cambrian lines to Pwllheli and Aberystwyth which converge here. At one time this was a fully staffed station with buildings in the area to the left now surrounded by fencing. Today the facilities are the simple bus shelter arrangement seen in the picture, although for such a remote station is does seem to be well provided with lighting. This view is from an open carriage window of a train on the Aberystwyth line. |
