| Description |
English: Dredger on Hedon Haven, near Salt End, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The dredger was being used to try and deepen the Hedon Haven (and increase its flow capacity) after the floods of January 2008. This position on the Haven is about 400m away from the River Humber. Burstwick Drain/Hedon Haven drains a lot of the rainwater off the land from south west Holderness. The backdrop is the chemical works at Saltend. |
