Summary[edit]

Description
English: Duck Hole Bog, New Forest. Descending to the north of Wilverley Plain you encounter Duck Hole bog, a boggy valley between Holm Hill and Markway Hill (on the left). The path is along the gravelly/sandy soil on the undulating side of the hill and has worn through the thin topsoil to reveal the bleached gravel below. In the bog valley here is a pool of open water, attractively decorated with a trailer tyre.
