Summary[edit]

Description The Koninklijke Marine (Royal Netherlands Navy) destroyer Hr.Ms. Kortenaer (JT6). Kortenaer had been commissioned as the British S-class destroyer HMS Scorpion (G72). She was sold to the Netherlands on 1 October 1945, her NATO pennant later being "D804". After her conversion to an anti-submarine frigate her pennant was changed to "F812". Kortenaer was decommissioned in 1962 and scrapped in 1963.
