English: Eatta or koori
മലയാളം: Blacktip sea catfish.(ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Plicofollis dussumieri (Valenciennes, 1840)). കൂരി അഥവാ ഏട്ട എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു മൽസ്യമാണിത്! ശുദ്ധജലത്തിലും കടൽ വെള്ളത്തിലും ഇതിന്റെ വകഭേദങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്, കൂരി, ചില്ലാൻ മഞ്ഞക്കൂരി, മഞ്ഞളേട്ട എന്നീ പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന താരതമ്യേന ചെറിയ മൽസ്യങ്ങൾ ശുദ്ധജലത്തിലും ഓരു വെള്ളങ്ങളിലും അഴിമുഖങ്ങളിലും കായലിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. കടലിലുള്ള ഏട്ട സ്രാവിനെപ്പോലെ പോലെ വളരെ വലുപ്പത്തിലുള്ളതും കാണാറുണ്ട്. മുന്തിരിക്കുലകളെപ്പോലെ മുട്ടകളുള്ള ഈ മത്സ്യത്തിന്റെ മുട്ടകൾ രുചിയേറിയതും മൽസ്യവിഭവങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനവുമാണ്‌ ഇവയെ ഏട്ടമുട്ട എന്ന പറയപ്പെടുന്നു
