Description L'école extérieure du fr:Plan de Saint-Gall (en haut : Haec quoque septa premunt discentis uota iuuentae), à laquelle on accède par le flanc de l'église (introitus). On distingue les douze cellules où résident les écoliers (mansiunculae scolasticorum hic), et au centre deux grandes pièces sur lesquelles il est inscrit : domus communis scolae (maison commune de l'école) ; sur celle de gauche est précisé id (est) vacationis, ce qui semble désigner le lieu de récréation. Un couloir mène aux latrines (necessarius exitus).
