| Description |
English: Eilean Donan Castle in the Highlands of Scotland. Originally a MacKenzie stronghold, it passed into the hand of Clan MacRae as hereditary Constables of the castle and protectors of Clan MacKenzie. Amongst other movies, this castle was used in "Highlander" (1986), as the seat of Clan MacLeod (in reality the seat of Clan MacLeod is Dunvegan Castle).
