Español: El Transformador es una Organización Social independiente en donde intentamos encontrar una forma distinta de relacionarnos, donde buscamos dar respuestas a diferentes problemáticas que hoy nos golpean como sociedad. Nuestro trabajo está organizado sobre tres ejes: el social, el político y el cultural, que al complementarse y retroalimentarse, hacen posible la realización de un proyecto integral.

Nuestra historia: Como consecuencia de la crisis socio - económica que golpeó a la Argentina a finales del año 2001, un grupo de vecinos y amigos de la Localidad de Haedo, ubicada en la Provincia de Buenos Aires, empezamos a buscar nuevas formas de participación ciudadana. De esta manera comenzaron a surgir las llamadas asambleas barriales. Si bien las aspiraciones y los proyectos eran y son muchos, la primera actividad que se realizó fue la conformación de un comedor popular a donde asistían unas cuarenta personas de las cuales el 70 por ciento eran niños. Desde el inicio, el trabajo fue encarado no sólo en lo referente a la alimentación, sino que se acompañó a las familias en distintos temas como: la documentación (ya que la mayoría de los niños estaban indocumentados), la salud (vacunación, control de peso), la educación y la recreación (escolarización de los niños). año 2002 y en señal de apoyo de algunos vecinos a nuestro proyecto, se consiguió una casa ubicada en el centro de la ciudad, la cual había sido declarada monumento histórico de la Provincia y que se encontraba en desuso y en estado de abandono. En esta nueva etapa del proyecto y luego del acondicionamiento mínimo y elemental de la vivienda para poder funcionar, nos abocamos al desarrollo de distintos proyectos que hasta ese momento se encontraban latentes. A lo largo de estos años, nuestra organización, gracias a las características particulares de la casa y al trabajo de cada uno de los que formamos parte del proyecto, ha podido llevar a cabo una amplia diversidad de actividades, las cuales están repartidas por espacios.

Asi estan en funcionamiento, una Biblioteca Popular con mas de 700o libros, talleres culturales en los cuales participan mas de 200 jovenes, donde no solo se accede a distintas manifestaciones culturales, sino a otras formas de organizarse. Funciona tambien alli un centro de día para niños/as y jovenes que se encuentran en situación de calle, es decir que viven o pasan gran parte de sus días en las calles. Junto con la organización H.I.J.O.S. zonal Oeste encaramos dos proyestor: un espacio de cine debate donde mensualmente se proyectan peliculas, que tienen como finalidad abrir la discusion a distintas temáticas. Y por otro lado se creo una DVDteca de cine documental que ya cuenta con mas de 200 films de dificil acceso en los circuitos comerciales
English: El Transformador is an independent Social Organization where we try to find a different form of being related, where we look for to give answers to different problematic that today they hit us as society. Our work is organized on three axes: the social one, the politician and the cultural one that when being supplemented makes possible the realization of an integral project.

Our history: As consequence of the crisis partner - economic that hit the Argentina at the end of the year 2001, a group of neighbors and friends of the Town of Haedo, located in the County of Buenos Aires, we begin to look for new forms of civic participation. This way they began to arise the calls assemblies mires. Although the aspirations and the projects were and they are many, the first activity that was carried out was the conformation of a popular dining room to where some forty people attended of which 70 percent was children. From the beginning, the work was not only faced regarding the feeding, but rather he/she accompanied to the families in different topics as: the documentation (since most of the children were undocumented), the health (vaccination, control of weight), the education and the recreation year 2002 and in support sign of some neighbors to our project, a house was gotten located in downtown, which historical monument of the County had been declared and that it was in disuse and in state of abandonment. In this new stage of the project and after the minimum and elementary repairs of the housing to be able to work, we meet ourselves to the development of different projects that you/they were latent until that moment. Along these years, our organization, thanks to the characteristics peculiar of the house and to the work of each one of those that are part of the project, has been able to carry out a wide diversity of activities, which are distributed by spaces.

They are this way in operation, a Popular Library with but of 700o books, cultural shops in which participate but of 200 youths, where not alone you consents to different cultural manifestations, but to other forms of being organized. It also works there by day a center for children and young that are in street situation, that is to say that they live or they pass great part of their days in the streets. Together with the organization H.I.J.O.S. West Zone faces two projects: a cinema space debates where monthly they are projected movies that have as purpose to open the discussion to different thematic. And on the other hand one believes a DVD of documental cinema that already counts with but of 200 films of difficult access in the commercial circuits
