Description
English: Overview from the north of the Ellis Mounds, located in the triangle bounded by Hillview Road, Wolford-Maskill Rd., and State Route 4, northeast of Marysville in Paris Township, Union County, Ohio, United States. The mound group is a complex of earthworks built by Hopewellian peoples; as an important archaeological site, the mounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
