Auf der Stützleiste des Keilrahmens in Schwarz links betitelt und rechts in Versalien signiert und bezeichnet: Sonnenaufgang vom WENDELSTEIN. Prof. Emil Orlik Kunstg. Museum Berlin. Auf dem Keilrahmen oben ein Etikett der Münchner Secession. Provenienz: Ehemals Sammlung Antonín Dolezal, Prag (1944 von den Nationalsozialisten beschlagnahmt, 1950 von der tschechoslowakischen Regierung verstaatlicht und 2010 an die Erben restituiert)
