Español: Diapositiva de acceso y disponibilidad pública consultada en los Fondos Documentales pertenecientes al Archivo Histórico del Guayas; Guayaquil, Ecuador. Referencia ortográfica de cuyo escrito lo contiene un manuscrito de custodia patrimonial. (Sección: Portoviejo, Puertoviejo, Puerto Viejo). En la imagen se encuentra un párrafo que enfatiza citando a la población de Charapotó en la jurisdicción incorporada a la Tenencia de Puerto Viejo: « En el pueblo de San Esteban de Charapotó, jurisdicción de la Ciudad de Puerto Biejo en quince días del mes de Julio de (seiscientos) nobenta y dos años el Capitán Don Juan de Contonente Theniente General de Correxidor de la dicha Ciudad por Su Magestad dijo que por quanto oy día [...]».Consultado y compartido por el usuario J.
