Description
Español: Esta danza se presento por primera vez en Acatlán de Osorio con motivo de los festejos del Arcangel San Rafaél el 24 de Octubre de 1890, según los documentos que conserva el pueblo de Acatlán, aprendieron la danza de informantes de los Ranchos de Cuahulutla y El Guayabo en el municipio de Tehuitzingo, Puebla, quienes a su vez la aprendieron de maestros de Cocula, Guerrero, a quienes conocieron en una peregrinación al Santuario de Chalma en donde vieron la Danza. Con el tiempo la danza se arraigo en Acatlán y adquirio caracteterísticas propias, a tal grado que actualmente forma parte importante de muchos de los festejos de la comunidad.
