Description
English: Pictured are Royal Marines from 42 Commando (42Cdo) practicing live firing drills and techniques on the small-arms ranges.

42 Commando (Cdo) Royal Marines conducted Arctic training in northern Norway within the Arctic Circle during Exercise OCTANS 08.

The Unit conducted Novice training and cold weather warfare courses over a couple of months in the Porsangmoen training area, in some very demanding and challenging conditions.
