English: Field near Iford Ploughed field north of the village on a slight rise before sloping back down to The Brooks. The land between the foot of the downs and the edge of the marshland has long been a fertile and productive area particularly for cereals. Taken from the footpath that links Iford to the southern edge of Lewes. |
