Summary[edit]

Description

Food distribution taking place at one of 76 Liberian border villages who have taken in Ivorian refugees.

These women have received a food package consisting of bulgar wheat (high in fibre and protein in comparison with rice), pulses, corn soya blend (CSB - soybean flour and cornmeal fortified with vitamins and minerals) and oil.

The UK government has recently announced an urgent emergency aid package to help tens of thousands of people affected by the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Liberia and the Ivory Coast.
