Description

December 28, 2010.

Yesterday (Monday), the IDF Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi, awarded the Chief of Staff Prize of Excellence which is given annually to outstanding IDF units in the following fields: operations, reservist, training and instruction, education, combat support, technology, and administration.

In addition, awards were given out to three IDF officers who excelled in writing about a particular military issue.

Pictured here: Lt. Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi awards a winner of the Chief of Staff Prize of Excellence.
