Description

NORFOLK (June 8, 2012) Ships participating in Operation Sail (OpSail) 2012 Virginia, sail towards the downtown Norfolk waterfront. OpSail 2012 Virginia will be Norfolk's largest gathering of international tall ships and naval vessels in more than 100 years. OpSail 2012 Virginia commemorates the bicentennial of the War of 1812 and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner.
