Description
English: Former track of the Brighton and Rottingdean Seashore Electric Railway (Daddy longlegs) – As the maps like to put it. In this case the remains of the Volks electric "Daddy longlegs railway . This used to run through the sea (when the tide was in) from Brighton to Rottingdean. The solitary "train" resembled a section of Brighton pier and travelled at the graceful speed of 4 miles per hour.
