Summary[edit]

Description
English: Fort Kinnaird. "Fort" has come to mean big shopping centre of the tin sheeting kind, probably derived from Fort Dunlop , once a Birmingham tyre factory, now a mall. This one is on the A1 at the edge of Edinburgh, and has been generating traffic jams for several years now. Looking north to Fife across what must be a doomed stubble field. The mall or Malls, there are actually two, are built on old collieries.
