Description
English: Remarkable gravestone of a German major and two of his comrades, fallen in Sivry during the Franco-Prussian War (1870). The stone stands in the cemetery of Sivry, next to the church (municipality Sivry-Ante, Marne department, Champagne-Ardenne region, France). The text on the grave reads:

Français : Remarquable pierre tombale d'un major allemand et deux de ses camarades, tombés à Sivry pendant la guerre franco-prussienne (1870). La pierre se trouve dans le cimetière de Sivry, à côté de l'église (municipalité Sivry-Ante, Département de la Marne, Champagne-Ardenne, France). Le texte sur la tombe lit comme suit:

Nederlands: Opmerkelijke grafsteen van een Duitse majoor en twee van zijn kameraden, gevallen in Sivry tijdens de Frans-Duitse Oorlog in 1870. Het graf bevindt zich op het kerkhof van Sivry, naast de kerk (gemeente Sivry-Ante, departement Marne, regio Champagne-Ardenne, Frankrijk). De tekst op de steen luidt::
