Notes Franz Schreyer, deutscher Landschaftsmaler u. Grafiker. Studium an der Kunsthochschule Dresden bei Fr. Preller d.J. Studienreise nach Italien. Zuwendung zur Freiluftmalerei, die ihn folglich von der illusionistischen Darstellungsweise abbrachte. In den Wintermonaten entstanden realistische Motive aus der Region. Seine Werke werden in den Museen Altenburg (Th.), Bautzen, Chemnitz, Freiberg i.Sa., Leipzig u. Zwickau gezeigt.
