Summary[edit]

Description
English: A French Marine VAB takes the beach during a Non-combatant Evacuation Operation (NEO) exercise held on the western coast of Scotland. The VAB (Véhicule de l'Avant Blindé) is a front-line tactical armoured vehicle that can be fitted with a selection of weapon systems including a 12.7 mm or 25 mm Dragar turret, an anti-tank missile launcher turret or a variety of mortar systems. The event is part of Exercise Northern Light 03, which includes military personnel from 12 NATO nations, and is held every four years.
