Description
English: Friar Street, Reading, c. 1893, looking eastwards towards the Market Place. To the left are the entrance to the Town Hall and the west end of St. Laurence's Church. On the south side of Friar Street, behind the statue of Queen Victoria, may be seen No. 175; Nos. 174 and 173; the entrance to The Arcade; Nos. 172 and 171. 1890-1899 : glass negative by H. W. Taunt, Box 22 No. 9025.
