  • Significance: The only known dwelling on the Eastern Shore with stenciled walls. // Late 18th - early 19th c. Frame, horizontal siding. 1 1/2 stories; rectangular plan; side 1 1/2 story gabled wing. Gambrel roof; interior end chimneys; full width front shed porch; boxwood garden. Four rooms with wall stenciling (from 1800-1830) featuring polka dots, dentils and daisies, urns and sunbursts.
