Description
Deutsch: Blick auf Gelsenkirchen von der „Himmelstreppe“ aus. Zu sehen ist im Vordergrund die ehemalige Zeche Rheinelbe, heute Sitz des „Lichthofs“, einer Fortbildungsstätte des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, des „Europäischen Hauses der Stadtbaukultur“ und eines Gründerzentrums. Im Mittelgrund die Innenstadt Gelsenkirchens, dahinter die „Veltins Arena“ - ehemals „Arena AufSchalke“. Im Hintergrund rechts die Innenstadt Gelsenkirchen-Buers, links die Schornsteine der VEBA-Raffinerien und die Bergehalde Scholven.
