Description
English: General Lying-In Hospital. On York Road at Addington Street, now NHS offices. The inscriptions read as follows...

"Under the patronage of Her Majesty" and "And Her Royal Highness the Princess of Wales".

The modern building beyond is the Park Plaza Hotel which replaced the infamous No 1 Westminster Bridge 171789. See also 51370 for an almost similar view before that building was replaced.
