English: Giant's grave pillow mound, Henning Hill. Looking south along the pillow mound (with a sarsen stone at the far end) on the steep west-facing slopes of Henning Hill. Folklore says that a giant lies buried in this mound; he died of disappointment after losing a stone-throwing contest with a giant who lived on nearby Nordon Hill. |
