Summary[edit]
DescriptionGoods in - geograph.org.uk - 1103051.jpg |
English: The King's Centre, Osney Mead, Oxford.
This was the Goods In entrance of Oxford Instruments. The building with the arched entrance was there when I started and the door you see was a folding one that went nearly to the roof line and has a crane coming out of it. It has since had the brickwork cladded and gained new windows and doorway. The further building was built in the mid 1970s over the top of the Boathouse that was there and we were still working on it. When the steel work was erected we came out while it went on then back to work when it was safe. The concrete hard standing to the right was where the huge nitrogen tank was kept. |
