Summary[edit]

Description The house in Cavendish P.E.I. made famous by the book Ann of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Built somewhere between 1830 and 1870 Lucy never actually lived in the house but based her story upon it and other locations around the small town. The house was actually owned by the Mcnel family who were cousins of Lucy. The house is now a visitor centre and preserved for the nation.
