de: Die Quelle ist ein Bericht über den Besuch der Ruinen des Forts Groß-Friedrichsburg durch das Marinepersonal der SMS „Sophie“ unter dem Kommando von Korvettenkapitän Stubenrauch im Februar 1884. Der Ort befindet sich in der Nähe des Kaps der drei Spitzen im heutigen Ghana. Bei der Erkundung der Anlagen wurden unter Schutt und Pflanzenbewuchs u.a. auch sechs historische Kanonenrohre entdeckt. Die Rohre bestanden aus Gusseisen und waren mit eisernen Ringen umzogen. Vier von ihnen wurden wie folgt vermessen: Länge: 2,15 m; 2,34 m; 2,70 m; 1,60 m; Kaliber: 110 mm; 123 mm; 140 mm; 90 mm.
