Description
English: Bridge carrying the Groton Wharf Branch (currently run by the Providence and Worcester Railroad) over Shennecosset Road in Groton, Connecticut. The branch was originally the main line of the New York, Providence, and Boston Railroad until the Thames River Bridge opened in 1889, with a new alignment through Groton.
