| Description |
English: Gun emplacement on Crimson Hill One of multiple. The two machine gun ones are about 20 metres apart. There are a further 3 around the top of the hill, withing 1km of each other. There is also a line of tank traps below the hill, in the forest- the other machine gun pillbox is seen in 353799. This is a Vickers machine gun pillbox http://webapp1.somerset.gov.uk/her/details.asp?prn=44336 . This one has the view seen in 353820. |
