Description
Deutsch: „Schmetterlingswiese“ (Artengemeinschaft Halbtrockenrasen), im Kohlstettental. Dies ist ein Tal zwischen Großengstingen und Offenhausen (vor Gomadingen), Schwäbische Alb. Es ist ein Trockental einer pleistozänen Ur-Lauter (Große Lauter). Eine Ur-Lauter existierte schon im Obermiozän und entwässerte in eine Urdonau.
Das Landschaftsbild des Tals und seiner albtypischen Umgebung ist großflächig gesetzlich geschützt. Ein kleiner Teil der Brache des Halbtrockenrasens ist seit 2004 im Verbund mit einer wertvollen Feldhecke als geschütztes Biotop gemäß Bundesnaturschutzgesetz ausgewiesen.

English: Calcareous grassland between Kohlstetten and Offenhausen (villages between Engstingen and Gomadingen. The dry valley is the karstified result of a pleistocene Ur-Lauter (Große Lauter).
