Description
English: The persons in the painting are Hulda Garborg and Arne Garborg, Kolbotnstua was their home on the farm Kolbotn in Østerdalen from 1888. Two of the paintings hanging on the wall behind them can be identified as paintings done by Kitty Kielland. Harriet Backer and Kitty Kielland first met Hulda and Arne Garborg in Paris in 1885. They remained close friends for life.
